This Friday, 6-9pm at Lindsay Gallery, in Columbus Ohio.
I previously painted a smaller version of this American gas station. This is larger, and has more charisma, I believe. I enjoy driving around Tennessee, and I like drinking pepsi colas, or coca colas. Join me on Facebook and see some of my road photos there.
Emerald Cascades, 36x48, 2011, by Harry Underwood. This was nearly completed when I travelled to Oxford MS, and Memphis TN eight days ago. When I was a young person I spent a lot of time on Miami Beach. Growing up in Homestead Fl, many miles south, I never new places like that existed until I was old enough to go there myself. The only parts of Miami I knew prior to that, were the docks at Bayside (before it was Bayside Mall), and the Greyhound bus station where we sent my uncle off to Navy Boot Camp in the 1970s. Back then the greyhounds had those turquoise windows. Visit artbyharry.com for more information and artwork.
